Adult Intensive Outpatient Program

A Recovery Program Designed for Adults Struggling with Addiction

Our Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for adults who are struggling with Addiction or Dual Diagnosis. The clinical team works hand-in-hand with each client to come up with an individualized treatment plan designed to target the underlying mental health conditions in addition to the substance use disorder.

Meet with members of our clinical team to receive a comprehensive evaluation which includes a psychiatric evaluation and medication management evaluation. Clients have the opportunity to discuss different treatment options to treat their symptoms, and discuss Medication Assisted Treatment options. These evaluations are in conjunction with the structured group therapy which takes place on average over the course of 6 to 8 weeks.

Topics covered: Addiction and recovery, mindfulness, DBT, forgiveness, relationships, CBT, self-acceptance, trauma and seeking safety, emotional wellbeing and relapse prevention.

IOP meets three days per week, in person, for three hours at a time. Group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12pm – 3pm. Our IOP groups are facilitated by a talented team of experienced and licensed clinicians.

Testimonials

I mean, seriously, the staff and the whole program are like the real deal. They’ve got this crazy, genuine care for every client that just hits different. My therapist? That superhero went above and beyond, always ready to swoop in when things got rough. In many ways, those Elevate peeps, they practically held me together – saved my life, I’m not even kidding. As for the program itself, they’ve got this killer balance. Trauma processing, learning the ropes, building skills, and getting grounded – it’s all part of the game. Elevate doesn’t mess around; they go full-on holistic. The group facilitators, oh honey, they’re the real MVPs. I’m already missing their vibes. At Elevate, you can be you, even on the crappiest days. It’s a place where raw honesty meets genuine kindness, no judgment, just love. These folks, they’ve got your back during those transition times. Need resources? They’ve got you covered. And let me tell you, the people you meet here, they’re pure gems. Everyone’s got their story, and yet, there’s always someone who gets it. We laughed, we grew, and we did it together. You know what I realized? Life can be a whole lot more vibrant than we ever imagined. I started healing, y’all, and it’s a game-changer. So, if you’re considering taking that plunge, finding that extra support, I’m here to tell you, go for it, honey! It’s worth it, I pinky promise.

Elevate has been 100% integral to getting my life back on track during the past 7 months after I experienced a series of traumatic events (coupled with mental health and substance abuse issues) that literally brought me to my knees. I joined Elevate’s substance-abuse focused IOP program just 2 days after my intake in March 2023. What I found were 3 amazing, supportive, non-judgmental counselors. Polly, Steph and Susan facilitated a day each week. Each counselor brought her own knowledge, background, perspective, and insights to the group which was extremely helpful. Dr. Elsamra was extremely kind and took the time to try to understand my unique story and to figure out how he could best help me. He prescribed me meds to detox at home as well as a couple of meds he felt would be useful to support my healing. Dr. Elsamra isn’t afraid to prescribe meds that could be helpful, but he also doesn’t over-prescribe. He seems to look for the sweet spot for each client, looking for the optimal mix of maximally safe and effective meds for each individual, depending on their unique needs. I also love that Dr. Elsamra sits in on group from time to time to get to know the members. Thank you Elevate, from the bottom of my heart!
